We just got back from our annual camping trip to Tugman State Park in Oregon. It rained 3 of the nights, but we stayed pretty dry. We had to put the tent up when we got home to dry it out though. :) We went canoeing for the first time this year the kids had a blast, the dogs didn't care for it too much but they started to get used to it. We also did part of a trail that goes around the lake, made it about 2 miles in & then turned around & went back. I was very impressed with how well my 5 1/2 year old did on the hike, I gave him the camera & he took pics most of the way through. The kids were really excited about finding salamanders in the shallows of the lake along the trail. We also spent a couple of days ocean side playing in the water & the sand, throwing balls around for the dogs & playing frisbee with the kids. I'm already counting down until next years trip, the kids want us to get some ATVs to take out into the dunes, but we'll see :)
