Tom-foolery! Pranks and More Fun things to do while camping~
Hiya Fellow trekkers!
I just wanted to share a funny trick to play on Your Camp-mates~
While your Buddies are out Hiking or fishing away from the Camp.... Take a nice long run of rope and stuff it under thier tents! Take the tag end of the rope, and hide it under grass, leaves or pineneedles~
Later at night, once everyone has bedded down~ Sneek Your way over to the Tag end of the rope and start pulling and yanking the rope from under the tent!
*Caution:* stay away from the doorways of the tent, because You might just get Yourself run over!
Oh boy~ I have had People come running out of thier tents, run straight into the woods screaming!

we found this huge scorpion under our tent in BAJA. luckily he was only pink after 'photoshopping' for clarity

We were camping and fishing along the Feather River one time~ And We did this trick!
The individual in the tent- Came out screaming and ran right into the river! We all laughed soo hard, that none of Us could go back to sleep~

lol - so mean! I had a real experience with something under my tent once. I was on a backpack and camped on a nice mossy bed on top of a big flat rock. During the night I heard something skittering under my tent, back and forth, back and forth. Apparently I had camped right on top of a vole or mouse run! I just laughed at my own lack of awareness on where I put my tent, rolled over and went back to sleep. Once I knew what it was, it didn't disturb me the rest of the night.
