Summer Vacation
Amigos!
Taking the family on a 2 weeks trip when they get out of school. The plan is to leave from Texas Motor Speedway after the Indy race June 6th and head to Colorado. Spend some time enjoying the Mtns then head to the Grand Canyon for a couple days. Then long haul back to Austin.
If you have any great campgrounds in the Rocky Mtn State Park area & Grand Canyon that you can advise on let me know. I've got a 38ft 50AMP class A.
Looks like we will break up the trip so if you know of other good spots along those routes let me know. I've got two girls ages 8 & 11.

Rocky Mountain National Park Aspenglen, Glacier Basin, Moraine and Timber Creek are all listed as tent/ Rv. I would Recomend reserving soon.
If you don't want to stay in the park then on the west is Grand Lake and on the east is Estes Park, both have Rv campgrounds.

Trail Ridge Road is the only road that passes through the park and is closed until Memorial Day due to snow, the road is the highest paved highway in the us and has elevations of over 12,000 ft.
