Buckskin Mountain State Park, Arizona

We are wanting to go to Arizona next summer and have heard about Buckskin Mtn State Park. We would like to get some personal opinions and advise on this park if anyone has been there.

Comment by Tony Padegimas on June 11, 2009 at 4:05am: There are several "Buckskin Mountains" in AZ. The state park is on the Colorado River and 100+ degrees over the summer. There is, however, a designated swimming area in the river.
Fee area.
The locals firmly believe that if you drink enough beer, the heat will not bother you.
