I think the moutains or cayons would be nice to see. What is eastren Texas like? We see a lot of swampland but the uplands would be nice. Places where a four wheel drive is needed is ok also. Are these primitive…

Faye, Brazos Bend SP is about 45 miles south of Houston. It is beautiful and one of my most favorite parks. Also, Huntsville SP is wonderful. Great bike trails. Personally, I don't think Livingston or Texana can hold a candle to Brazos Bend and…

LOVE to camp!
We love to camp and go at least once a month. I try to schedule trips 3 or 4 weeks apart. We camp in a pop-up. It's a small one, but it does the trick. I'd like to upgrade and am currently looking for one with U-shaped seating.
We mostly camp at the state parks. Done some KOA camping (South Padre) and Good Sam (San Antonio), but that's when there aren't any state parks close to our destination.
A few of my favorite parks: Brazos Bend, Huntsville, Bastrop, Inks Lake, Guadalupe River, South Llano.....and on and on and on....
