My favorite state park is Itasca...but I've never camped there. The favorite place that I've camped is Banning State Park because of the awesome moraines along the Kettle River.

We leave on Friday for Duluth-Superior Pride through Saturday and then we leave for Washington. We'll spend four days getting out there, 2 in Washington, and 4 days getting back.

I must be a nerd too, because I love the binder. My girlfriend and I keep a binder of all the spots we've camped or would like to camp. It makes life much easier. When do you leave for your big adventure?

Today, Tisha and I begin to pack and get everything ready for our trip out west next week. I can't begin to say how excited I am. I've never done something like this. I've travelled lots but never in a car and camping for 12 days. I'm jonesin for the chance to wrestle a bear or a wombat (I know they only live in Australia) or maybe even go cliff diving. Who knows?
