Hello from tucson, az. I noticed we joined some groups at the same time and since i don't believe in coincidences i decided to say hello and to say keep on enjoying nature.
This is a place for people to post their last minute space cancellations, report spots that they find that are unclaimed, abandoned spots, and places that seem quite available, yet not well known...

Hey sorry Im delayed in answering. Yes, I agree with you about it being a small world, big internet. Wondeful that you visit Fayetteville often. Im a little south of there in a really nice, small town called Brooks ( it does have a post office lol)
Have you had much time to camp lately? It seems like this summer is slow for me as far as camping we have camped 3 times twice for 2 weeks and once for a 3 day week. Husband had/has some minor health issues and it was something everytime we turned around. Hopefully we can get back with the weekends this fall.Take care
Lynn, I am also new to this site. I noticed your picture and I love the attire you have on. I was once a Square Dancer, Swinging Ramblers. I wasn't sure of any dances around anymore.Welcome to camping Index I am excited about finding this website. My Husband and I love to camp mostly West Point area. Although I have a dream of visiting all the state parks in Ga one year. :) As a Child my Dad was a Boy Scout leader so his two daughters went camping about every weekend. The North Ga Mts are my favorite. My husband and I have a popup sorta a step down from the TT and MH but its easier, takes less gas and we are able to camp more often.
take care
Peggy

The Tech Blanket from Thermarest is a great piece of gear when it comes to hammock camping. The system was meant for the ground but it works great in a hammo...
