I thought that cave was in far southwest ok. I have been in a cave down there that sounds like this, however we just called it the bat cave, it is located south of reed ok. I can tell you how to get there if you find this is indeed the cave you seek.

Yes it is........please provide support if you can access this cave....we have an Eagle Patrol in our scout troop that wishes to access that area.........

Our family would go there each summer...trip on a tankful. The kids are grown and out of the house although my daughter went there for 3 days, 2 nights with her friends just this month!

No modification or picture enhancement. I was completing the last day of a 7 day Bicycle ride across Oklahoma called Freewheel Oklahoma. The time is as stated and it was unusually cool for June 14th. Dewpoint was certainly in effect!

What kind of trip are you wanting to go on? Where? Are you driving, flying, using other transportation?
Regarding your son's university sponsored trip, not knowing the details... off hand $450 seems reasonable. What did that include? How many days/nights?

- You want less than $450 for a guided 4-5 day backpacking or camping tour of the Grand Canyon? Wow. In my brief searching so far, I think that may be hard to find. Nevertheless, I am going to check with some outfits and see what they can offer our members.
You might consider putting together your own tour. It would cost so much less. You might be able to get local Arizona CampersIndex members to go with you, to make it more fun and informative.
