You are right, we don't live very far away at all. In fact, Nancy and I are playing with the idea of retiring over in Pecan Plantation which is even closer to you. You have great pics posted.

Kim, I agree with Gary. Big Bend is one of the best vacations my wife and I have ever been on. All of his suggestions are right on. Marfa lights are fun and the hike around Ft. Davis is very nice as well. You should have a great time!!!

We are going to Cedar Hill SP to camp and do some geocaching the end of this month. From the looks of the map on geocaching.com there should be plenty of caches there to keep us busy for awhile!

- LOL... Marfa lights are strange lights that appear (if I remember correctly) south of town. There is no explanation for them. I think if you google Marfa lights you could probably learn the whole story behind it. It's something that the folks from Marfa are quite proud of... thier little mystery. :-)
