Here is a list of places I have camped. The list is no particular order and I will include coordinates if I can find them online as well as something from my memory about the experience.

Brewer Lake - Fresno County:
Brewer Lake can be found on the Dogtooth Peak USGS quad topo map. Brewer Lake is a lake in Fresno County in the state of California. The latitude and longitude coordinates for this lake are 37.1666, -119.1248 and the altitude is 8750 feet (2667 meters).
You either must hike into the lake or navigate the 4wd trail.
Camped here 1 time and it was pouring rain most of the weekend. I drove my car up to the base of the 4wd trail and met a friend who had his 4wd truck. Packed my gear into his truck and he hauled it up the trail for me while I mountain biked in with my dog... that was an adventure in itself.
Picked a spot by the lake and set up camp. Most of the guys I was camping with fish, and they have returned to this lake many times to fish. Camping was a bit tough here for me just because I had to rely on others to get me in and out. The lake itself is great with a large section of flat rock coming down one end of the lake. Wish I had some pictures to share.
