Yes, Washington is beautiful but because it rains a lot during the winter. For the most part the people are friendlier, it just depends on where you go. I'm hoping to go camping soon!!

That is where I find peace of mind is when I am camping or just in the mountains gathering white sage. Hopefully we will be in a position to move out of this State sometime soon.

Yes, we've been hearing about California's woes...I'm sorry hopefully things will start look up eventurally...at least you can escape awhile via camping :-)

How are you doing? Hope that all is going well in your neck of the woods. Life here is good even though Arnold The Terminator is turning California from the Golden State to the Bankrupt State. LOL

I use to live in Forks and Clallum Bay, Wa. I think that you will enjoy La Push. Also if you get a chance The Hoh Rain Forest is absolutely beautiful and worth taking the trip.

June Camping

We are back from latest trip. It was great. We actually had time to stay more than one nite. We stayed at the Kalaloch campground again. Site was tiny but it was secluded & ours.
The campground was full so thankfully we had reservations. It was a fee free week-end for Dad's day. A lot of RV's & tent camping, but for the most part the other campers were nice & considerate.

June Camping

We plan on going camping again this June. We are undecided on whether or not we are going back to Kalaloch or try for La Push this time. The campsites are definately better than our area. Course being on the coast doesn't hurt. The next three weeks are going to be long ones!!
Yeah so just 3 more days until we are out of here!! Getting excited since my schedule doesn't allow for it too much. Going to have more time to explore La Push & hopefully get up to Neah Bay.

Try your "backyard" (near home)
Car camping within 1 hour of home makes it a lot easier to camp !!
