I was looking at pop ups on Craigslist the other day, and someone had a picture of theirs set up right by the river, and it was a beautiful area. I emailed them and all they told me was that it was south of Show Low (I assume they don't want to give up their spot) so I am coming to everyone on here to see if you know where it was. I would love to go camping and set up tent right by the river and this area was beautiful, it looked a lot like Oregon, so does anyone know of a place around the Show…See More

Hi all, I just found this group and it looks like it could be fun! I was born in Arizona, but have lived in Oregon and Alaska. I love the outdoors although having three younger kids has slowed that down a bit. My favorite places to camp around here are up on the rim around Knoll lake, Canyon creek, Happy Jack area, and Greer. I live in the valley, but as long as gas prices stay below four dollars a gallon this year, I will be hopefully camping the whole, spring, summer, and fall! I look forward… Continue
