I camped in Joshua Tree, though not at this campground, in February last year.  The days were maybe 70 degrees and the nights cool but not too bad if you're prepared.  Idk about snakes and scorpions, but you can see around you when you walk pretty well - it isn't real bushy or anything.

The one thing I did run into was wind - and lots of it.  Some campgrounds are better protected from the wind than others.

so what should i know about this place like I'm guessing since it's the desert there is plenty of scorpions and snakes? I'm excited, I want to go soon but maybe I'll wait until early spring

It does get hot in the summer, but I don't mind. However, this time it was in early October so it was still hot during the day, but not too cold at night.

What a fantastic camping site. Reminds me a little of Kodachrome State Park in Utah. I've been to Josua Tree NP twice, but it was HOT. Is this recent, so in the winter?

Hi Lina,
It's at the White Tank campground. There is a beautiful natural arch a short hike from there. If you go in the winter time be sure to be prepared for very cold nights.

That is awesome...where exactly in joshua tree? I have never been but would like to go soon!
