AS I mentioned in the general discussion, jewel weed wash is a poison ivy remedy.

Also, plantain -- very common and easy to recognize -- can be used as a poultice (the leaves) can be used as a remedy for any type of skin ailment -- rashes, wounds, ulcerations, cuts, swelling, sprains, bruises, burns, eczema, cracked lips, poison ivy, mosquito bites, diaper rash, boils, hemorrhoids, and blisters. If you don't have time or the wherewithall to make a poultice, simply bruise the leaves and rub it on your skin. Also, I have heard that if you eat 3 or 4 plantain seeds, it helps to keep the bugs (mosquitoes) away. I've tried it and it seems to help.
