There are lots to do there. But depends where you're going on the island. I know that Sydney Spit is a very cool place for camping. Use to go there on the family boat. Here's the link for it: http://www.britishcolumbia.com/parks/?id=453 A little history: the island use to have a brick factory and now ouly a small (if any) bricks remain in piles. If you're lucky to spot one that says sydney on it, it's a "beach comber's" dream....we only found 1/2 of one :P
