Funny! Yes, it does take a little time, but actually finding something is a rush... or so I hear. I have a GPS but have yet to figure out how to set it up for geocaching. I think I am GPS-challenged.

I havent been on in a while. So its nice to hear some one is actually goinin out and doing some caching

I recently got my girlfriend into Geocaching. She thought it would be fun so she sent me a link about TPWD having a Geocache contest (23 caches total, 10 in Houston area and 13 in Dallas Area state parks)

but, if you know what park you are going to, I have actually had better results simply Google-ing. Brazos Bend is my area and I get more caches by putting "Brazos Bend State Park Geocache" than I did trying to search through geocache.com

I love geocachin, it is fun and adventurous.  I started doing it for my kids, and now I am the one going crazy for it.  I have been able to find lots of sites at the State Parks, most recent at Inks and Ray Roberts.  I think I have a few pictures on my page.  I like to go with my friend or kids and we explore different sites.
