IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO CAMP WITH KIDS,IT,S LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED WATERHOLE ,NOTHING FANCY. BUT EVERY THING YOU NEED FOR FUN.MY KIDS AND I HAVE BEEN THERE A FEW TIMES YEARS AGO AND HAD A LOT OF FUN

It has been 10 years or so, but it was very nice back then. Lots of water related activities. Walking up the Falls is interesting. Was with a group of city slickers and we saw a "baby lobster". After the screaming stopped when I picked it up I explained that it was a crawdad.

we like Turner Falls....however it has no pads for camp sites and not very level spots. They have good cell phone service, you can see the towers across on a mountain. Make sure you go to falls at nights they are very beautiful. Bad thing about the place when we were there it was sooooo nasty, needed a good trash pickup and scrub or paint over the stupid crap nuts write on walls. Still it is a good place to vist and the swimming is great.

Turner Falls is a great place to camp and enjoy the water activities! The only bad thing is that it gets very very busy in the summer months. You are better off going in the off season (while school is in session) or at least during the week. Weekends in the summer time are a zoo! Beautiful water falls, nice trails, decent RV sites (though not much shade in the RV area in the summer time)!

Turner Falls is a GREAT place... also Try Cherokee National Park in Sulfer OK.. this is a great place.. Lots of camping sites, swimming holes, and a wonderfull park center with nature hikes and very abuindant wildlife. The water is very Cold... Spring fed year round 50 degrees,, the Sulfer springs are also close .
