Anyone know a good camp ground in Western NC, near Morganton or Lenoir?

If you are still looking, up near Wilkesboro the Army Corps of Engineers runs several campgrounds on W. Kerr Scott Lake. I have camped many times at Warrior Creek Campground as Well as Fort Hamby and Owls Roost. They are clean with decent shower facilities.
You might try asking the people in the North Carolina group, too.
Check out ASH GROVE in Brevard NC. It is in the Western part of the state between Asheville NC and Greenville SC. This may be a bit farther south than you are looking but it is a great campground. www.ash-grove.com
Thanks for your replies. My sister and I camped at Steele Creek campground north of Morganton on Hwy 181. Enjoyed the experience!
