I lived in fla for a while and the whole time there I wanted to die but I know what you mean. I have a couple of grandkids living in Lake Mary, do you know any good campgrounds in that area. Kissimee, Orlando? definition of a good campground is quiet spacious and the amenities are not important except for hot showers and flush toilets.

Hi Mike, We lived in Hollywood in the woods,sold every thing, lived on a House Boat, a little over 2 years followed my ageing Mother to FL., whom now lives with us, and forgetting more and more every day. Sad time in FL. and we hate it here in Ocala.Have a good time camping my friend, Meriel

Meriel where in SC are do you call home? What outragious promise got you to leave in the first place?
I lived in Fla. for a few years and never lost anything there nor would I go back to find it if I did.

just got back from santee state park and had a great weekend with wife, daughter, son in law and two grands.
weather was beautiful and the only rain we got was after bed time. couldn't be better unless we were still there.
