has anyone ever camped or rved at Heber/Overguard area of Arizona? took my first vacation there this year, it was a beautiful escape from the summer heat. Beqautiful pine trees and the Mongollion Rim was georgous, what a view...I would reccommend anyone to t4ravel there, many lakes, cool old architecture, they rent cabins everywhere and have plenty of camp site with and without hookups..very pretty

That has always been a favorite area for us to camp.

We have a little trailer that stays at a park called Sunrise. It is between Overgaard and Showlow on the North side of the highway. Summer temps are in the 70's and nights are windows open. We have to go get it in 2 weeks becasue they close the park for winter and snow..can you imagine.
There is a great hidden campground off the Black Canyon Lake road and a fire lookout you can explore.
