if your a fan of ohio and you love the outdoors.. the hocking hills is the place to be.. from the hiking and camping to the ziplines and scenery it's beautiful. i suggest canoeing or kayaking with the hocking valley canoe livery. they provide laid back trips down the hocking river which are fun for all ages. check them out at www.hockinghillscanoeing.com

thats what I trying to gage... The time to takes to get from on point to another... I am trying to figure out the best way to see the NFL hall of fame and Pittsburgh PA both on my way to Niagara Falls...I looked at maybe country acres in Raevenna but was thinking that may be a little to far to commute to and from Pittsburgh? especially with gas prices on the rise again.. I will be coming into OH from Big Bone Lick State Park in Kentucky. Any suggestions on what area would be a more central area between them two areas?

i live in akron, about 25 minutes north of canton, and have visited a few campgrounds around here. mill creek is great if you love making your own fun with swimming, fishing, boating, hiking or anything of the sort. it had a huge lake great for water activities. Mohican is good if you prefer the sort of all-inclusive idea. water slides, horseback riding, canoeing, go karts and mini golf are offered right outside of the campgrounds. they also have a fire tower you can climb, and a vast amount of wooded area to hike through, and beautiful scenery and a dam if you know where to go. im a frequent camper at both, but overall prefer mill creek because you dont have to leave to have fun.

i am really looking for someone who lives or know Ohio campgrounds. I am trying to finalize my summer plans. I intend on visiting canton and the nfl hall of fame and the pittsburg pa area... need a campground that is close to both.. Looking a country acres campground in Raevenna but was wondering if there wasn't something better ??

Hello OH campers. I am from AR and am planning a camping trip to OH this summer. Of course the NFL hall of fame is a must for me. So thinking about parking the RV somewhere in that area and touring OH for a couple of weeks .. Any must sees ???
