Sandy, you stayed at Wells Beach Resort if you were near Mike's  and also Congdon's restaurant has homemade donuts. We were there for 3 years starting in 2001 and then a new seasonal park was built at the other end of town. This will be my 8th season there and 11th season in Wells. This internet world is always surprising and many of us have been to the same RVing spots. Wells Resort is at the top of Mile Road and you go directly down to the ocean.

Janne, I don't remember.  My sis, who lives in VT, made the reservations, & we just kind of followed her.  I tried reseraching, hoping ot jog my memory, but nothing really hits it.  It wasn't too fancy, right off the main drag there (route 1?), & I think we weren't too far from a place well known for seafood of course, lol.  I wanna say Mike's Place or something like was the name of the restaurant.  It was really neat, loved the whole trip.  We hung out at the beach, went whale watching in Gloucester, awesome vaca.

Hello all.  I am 52 with grown kids married with kids of their own, & two teens still at home.  Hubby doesn't like leaving home, so I have re-discovered camping.  Started a couple of years ago, but I haven't ventured too far away from my home state of MO.  Been to AR (Bull Shoals/White River SP), and OK (Cherokee Landing SP).  Went Camping in Maine a few years ago (Wells Beach).  Been to several state parks in MO, enjoy getting to know my state again.  Still consider myself somewhat of a novice, but am learning & remembering things as I go.  Looking forward to seeing all of the neat place there are to go.

I am new to this group. My husband and I full timed it for 3 1/2 yrs, traveling all up and down the Eastern Seaboard from the tip of Nova Scotia to the bottom of Florida, and had several books worth of adventures. We stopped in over 40 KOAs, private campground, parks, stopped for a few nights or for a season. I am now a widow and live in a seasonal RV park in Maine in a Kountry Aire 5th wheel, having traveled in a Cedar Creek 5th wheel. I will read thru all of the groups tomorrow and will really enjoy this membership. We simply had the time of our lives. I love living outside, made lifelong RVer friends, and met people with similar interests. What more to life than this pleasure of travel and the great outdoors. I will happily give advice when asked and tell stories too. Have a good day

We are a family of 7. We love the outdoors, and what it has to offer us. We like to do the tent, and roughing it style. We have everything there is to survive a camp. My husband is a truck driver and I am a stay at home mom, homeschool one of my kids, and the others go to regular school. We love to atv ride, archery shoot, hiking, swimming in the cold waters, brrrrr, campfires, and the best part is the fishing, my girls out fish my son. Our dog gunner he doesnt know of when to stay out of the water, crazy dog!
