We usually go to Wade Lake. WE love to canoe and that is perfect. There are lots of birds and the occasional otter. We've seen bears, deer and Moose. WE love it.

Jeri,
Where exactly is Wade Lake in Montana? Is it one of those hidden, not so well known spots?
Wade Lake is south of Ennis. The turnoff is about a mile before the turnoff to Reynold's Pass. If you get to Quake Lake you went too far. There are two lakes, Cliff and Wade. Wade is on the right hand side. It's about 6 miles of dirt road from the highway. and is sometimes kinda rough. It pretty much fills up on Friday midday. It's 2 hours and 100 miles from Belgrade.
what part of montana is wade lake in? We live in nw area. do alot of camping at Tally Lake and Koocanusa.
