Here's an article people might be interested in on knives -- http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1669346/a_selection_of_ine...
Found an interesting combination tool for camping -- it's a knife, hammer, trenching tool (small shovel), saw, and hatchet all rolled into one. The jury is out on this one, so tell me what you think and let me know if you get one and what you think. Thanks! http://www.holeboutdoors.com/Camp_Tools_Details.htm
The Holeb Bushman is definatley a campers knife. I always have a few different knives when I camp. If I have my pants on I have my small lock blade. When I fish I make sure I have a fishing "nail clipper" and filet knife. A fixed blade knife always comes in handy. With so many places not allowing firewood gathering a hatchet or axe seldom comes in handy. A decent fixed blade and a "hammer" object can cut small branches if allowed.
