We are planning to visit Top Sail Hill @ Destin again, around the last part of Dec. We were there in October a few years ago and the weather was great, what can we expect the last of December?

Hello...Florida, When my wife and I were first married (28 years ago), we toured Florida in a 1981 short bed (self-custom,Hippi if you will) GMC van and loved it. We have only traveled to Florida by air, except we made a trip to Top Sail Hill at Santa Rosa Beach in 2006 for a weeks visit....Great Place!! We are planning doing it again this Christmas.

just joined, i live in SC but have grands in the lake mary area and will be coming down to FL to see them. any suggestions on a camp ground near lake mary/orlando.

we don't care for a lot of amenities but hot showers and flush toilets are a must. we have a pop-up

In A fue weaks we will be going camping at lake Griffin state park A nice clean camp ground with good fishing !

Yes, Russell, I agree -- first decide on a fairly central place, then later decide on the date. Where would a good place in Florida be for everyone to camp -- RV's, tents, and horses, too if possible? Ideas anyone?

Hi all! In the California group we are trying to organize our first annual CampersIndex campout, even if it's just a few people. You think anyone would be interested in doing that in Florida?
