Cher-Ae-heights Casino. I won $500.00 at a hot seat and another time, $500.00 casino cash. Then I won $300.00 at a slot tournament. I liked to walk on the beach in Trinidad. I took pictures there. There's a chain saw carver there I know who sells from 6th and Westhaven. His name is Steve or Big Daddy and in town he sells at the market, there in Trinidad.

Fern Canyon in Prairie Redwoods State Park is a must-do! Awesome hike up a canyon with a creek flowing through it. Ferns and other interesting plants growing up the walls of the canyon and on the canyon rim. 

I camped at the Gold Bluffs Beach Campground, which is nearby and right on the beach. Beautiful place to camp.

Fern Canyon and Gold Bluffs Beach Campground are accessed by Davison Road, which is, located 3 miles north of Orick off of Highway 101. 50 miles from Eureka and Crescent City. It's dirt road and it's a few miles drive on it, but it's well worth it!
