where campers connect + share
Permalink Reply by Scott Snider on December 12, 2010 at 8:07pm Been there and it's a once in a life time place to camp, because its expensive for me it was $58 a night. But the view is fantastic and I am glad I went and think I have posted pics here from that trip. You must make reservations, but again for a one time weekend it's worth it.

There's Malibu Beach RV Park...

I've never stayed there, but it's the only campground I know of in or near Malibu. It used to be a moblie home park when I was in college, but they've apparently converted into an RV park. It's right across the street from the beach. The only drawback is you have to cross the Pacific Coast Hwy to get there.

The campground is in the canyon across the highway from the ocean but there is a walkway that goes under the highway. I have camped there many times and it's always good!
